This is one of those stories where, if I were writing it about a black family, it would have an entirely different headline and an entirely different outcome, because that’s how these things work in our society right now.

A husband, wife, their son and an unidentified juvenile relative were all arrested in Middle River, Md., when a family gathering got out of control. WBAL-TV reports that police were summoned to respond to a domestic disturbance, and when they got there, all hell broke loose.

When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered Beverly Davis—whom they described as being confrontational and aggressive. When her husband, Gary Davis, tried to intervene, she turned and began attacking him.

When an officer tried to stop Beverly from assaulting Gary, Gary reportedly turned on the officer and held him in a choke hold until he fell unconscious.

So of course the other officer pulled out her gun and started laying people down, right? Wrong.

When the second officer tried to get her partner out of the choke hold that Gary was holding him in, the couple’s adult son, Scott Davis, reportedly attacked her.

So now you have two police officers getting their asses whipped by three people. Police said that a third officer also tried to pull Gary off the officer he had in the choke hold, only to be jumped by Beverly and Scott.

Somehow, some way, these officers obviously never feared for their lives even though they were getting the sh*t kicked out of them by the Beverly Hillbillies—so no one was shot multiple times as they charged at the officers and kicked their asses.

The three adult Davis family members as well as their juvenile accomplice were eventually arrested and charged with multiple crimes, with Beverly facing two counts of assault on a law enforcement official.

They were taken to jail, and the two officers who caught the fade were treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

No word yet on whether or not the Davis family were given their celebratory trip to Burger King.

'ER' actress shot and killed by South Pasadena police during wellness check at home
by Hannah Fry & Laura Newberry

Actress Vanessa Marquez was identified by authorities Friday as the 49-year-old woman shot and killed by police a day earlier during a welfare check at her apartment in South Pasadena.

Marquez was best known for her recurring role as nurse Wendy Goldman on the popular medical drama “ER,” which ran for 15 seasons until 2009.

Marquez appeared on the show from 1994 to 1997.

More recently, Marquez used social media to reference her struggles with celiac disease and seizures. She wrote on Facebook in March that she was “terminally ill.”

She also grabbed headlines last year when she accused her “ER” co-star George Clooney of helping to blacklist her from the series.

He denied the allegations.

Marquez’s landlord called police Thursday to request a wellness check on her, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Joe Mendoza said. She was having a seizure when authorities arrived at her apartment, in the 1100 block of Fremont Avenue, about noon.

Officers and a county mental health clinician spoke with Marquez for more than 90 minutes in an effort to persuade her to accept medical help.

Police said she was “uncooperative,” may have been suffering from mental health issues and appeared to be unable to care for herself.

Then, while they were talking, Marquez grabbed what they thought was a semiautomatic handgun and pointed it at them, Mendoza said.

Two officers fired at her, striking her at least once in the torso, Mendoza said.

The officers retrieved a weapon after the shooting and determined it was a BB gun that resembled a pistol, Mendoza said.

Marquez was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating, as is common in police shootings.

The names of the officers involved have not been released.

A similar incident involving South Pasadena police occurred in June 2017, when authorities said 41-year-old Marco Cardoza pointed what appeared to be a handgun at officers who were attempting to serve a warrant at his Burbank home.

Multiple officers fired their weapons at Cardoza, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives later learned that the man’s pistol was a replica.

For a hot minute, I thought the actor in the latest 2018 Jaguar F-PACE television ad was Dj MastrMynd, however...

---Now that I look at the ad again, the actor actually looks like one of the leaders of Black Lives Matter, Deray McKesson.

Florida cop strikes 14-year-old as he arrests her
by Amir Vera

A viral video of a police officer hitting a 14-year-old girl during an arrest has caused outrage in a Florida community.

The video -- posted to Instagram on Friday -- shows a girl being held down by two officers, one man and one woman.

The male officer hits the girl in the side twice as he holds her shorts.

"Why you hitting her?" someone in the video yells.

"She can't do that, her hands underneath her, the f*** you hitting her for?"

"Mouthing off" is not a crime.

Really?  The only way to "subdue" a 14 year old girl is to give her kidney punches?

Ice-T arrested for evading toll in Jersey
by Mark Gray

Ice-T was arrested in New Jersey Wednesday morning after driving through a bridge toll without paying the fee -- real hardened criminal stuff!

According to TMZ, the "Law & Order: SVU" star was approaching the George Washington Bridge on the New Jersey side when he tried crossing into the E-ZPass lane, which is for drivers who prepay tolls with a transmitter.

Unbeknownst to Ice, his transmitter didn't work.

The rapper-turned-actor was quickly pulled over by police for evading the toll.

Upon being pulled over, police discovered that the car Ice was in, a brand new McLaren, wasn't registered. Ice was arrested on toll evasion and for driving an unregistered vehicle.

Ice, who coincidentally plays a police officer on TV, told TMZ that he simply forgot to bring one of his seven E-Z Passes with him.

The car, he said, is new and was shipped from California.

Ice was quickly released.

"Cops went a little Extra. Coulda just wrote a ticket.

In and out.. Moovin," Ice tweeted on Oct. 24. He later added, "I love how people think just because I ACT like a cop on SVU I get special treatment from real cops... lol."
