"Illegal Immigration" and Crime
« on: July 01, 2018, 07:56:49 pm »
It is particilarly interesting that the CATO INSTITUTE, hardly a hotbed of "Leftist Radicalism," has concluded that undocumented immigrants (or "illegal aliens") are FAR LESS LIKELY TO COMMIT VIOLENT CRIMES than native-born Americans.

It is thus not surprising that many see racial fear-mongering in the trumped-up charges against immigrants.

This is no new revelation, but recently made headlines after the most recent demonization of immigrants in the "angel families" press conference - a particularly repulsive charade.

Hi Curtis. 😄
Hope all is well. 🙏
Well in your personal life, I mean.
There is nothing "well" in the mistreatment of families and their children, people seeking to escape persecution or seeking to economically survive by immigrating.
And ... viewing with open eyes the racism supporting it.
Gawd ... it makes me feel so ill. 😖

Hi Michael. Thanks for your kind well wishes. All is well.
I hope the same for you and your family.
And I share your revulsion.
I was once an immigrant in another country so this hits home.

Why do you think this isn't a generally accepted fact?

It isn't accepted by "certain" elements, obviously. Who tout the contrary.

It is a factual question. And thus, I reverified that the facrs as we understand them are as we thought. They are.

I found the "dog and pony show" of family members killed by "illegals" to be particlarly repulsive in its blatant dishonesty. That press conference was tansparently pandering to racism and fear. As is the entire "zero tolerance" policy of treating immigrants as "criminals."
