Not original at all, but still well-told. This is the 24, Shooter, etc. wheelhouse, and if you like those kind of action offerings, or the other Has Fallen films, then I recommend this one. These films all have good casts, and

while Danny Huston was obviously going to be the bad guy, he's good at playing bad. Nick Nolte was a high-light for me. I wasn't expecting that, but he added some nice emotional resonance to the film. I don't think they did as much with Jada Pinkett-Smith as they could've, but I thought she did fine with what she was given. I wasn't expecting her to die, so that threw me. Black women can't survive in the Fallen universe it seems.

The film also had a mid-credits scene.
