Additionally, the medical school deserves scorn for having published that, 35 years ago.  I'm sure that there were many good ole boys as administrators back then (and heck, now..)

now that he's claimed it's not him-- all of a sudden-- this is going to be wild if and when more stuff (hopefully) comes out on him donning such outfits.

Meanwhile-- Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax is in a curious position.

Speak up on behalf of the governor, just as you issued a rebuke against celebrating Robert E Lee Day in the Legislature (and risk the severe public backlash that's sure to come with that)?

Publicly quit, and if so, take yourself out of the (official) running to be appointed governor?

Say nothing (publicly), and hope that Northam resigns?

Heh.  We'll see, eh?

Funny that you mentioned that because the Washington Post had a story today about Fairfax and how he was preparing to take over for Northam until Northam called him to tell him he wasn't resigning. So, now Fairfax is in limbo. He did line up support from the Attorney General, who has publicly expressed support. The Attorney General and Fairfax were supposed to be rivals for the seat after Northam completed his term.
