and until i read that Battlestar is out of "prison" and has healed properly, he can't make the team.

REMEMBER, we need to go with Current statistics... sorry to be a downer.

Whoops. I forgot 'bout that.

In that case let's make Sinjection happy and swap Sunspot for Battlestar :D.

While he's at it, since Sunspot is filty rich, he can provide the team's headquarters (his mansion in Brazil) and gadgets. Superteams have to get their paper from somewhere.

Hey, can anybody think of a Black Superheroine BESIDES Storm, Monica and Debrii? You see I had to cheat on my list ;D

Silhouette, Lightbright, Wildstreak, Joanna Cargill, Bling, M, Angel Salvador(not really a heroine though, just a mutant)

Then there is this one large-breasted Rwandan mutant (not a heroine either) that appeared in X-men Unlimited by the name of Grace.  She was a blind telepath with a 3rd eye.  Here's a pic.

I think that it would be useful if we all put our heads together and created an original character who would be as powerful - if not more so - than Thor, or Sentry, to be the ultimate strong person of this team of "extraordinary black gentlemen...and ladies"   ;)

Thanks, Vic  :)

I hate to seem greedy, but Sunspot and Battlestar....I happen to like both on the team. Try to find someway to hide this post from MM. He'll say I'm being difficult again.

Yaw!!! We simply must have Grace on the team! What a fascinating character. Great find  :)

What an exciting character. I like the power and the visual presentation. Is this the only issue Grace has ever appeared in? If so, I have to wonder why she wasn't used more?

Yeah just one issue in one of the stories.  She was only meant as a plot device so Nightcrawler woudn't feel so bad about himself as compared to her, he has it good.  She was a survivor of the Rwandan Genocide during the late 90s and she went blind due to getting head by a gun.  Her family was not so fortunate and lost their lives.  Apparently she was able to survive due to mental manipulation with her powers.  I'm not surprised she is not more used.  Her powers aren't very unique and noone needs a Black female refugee from one of the worst atrocities in recent history around Xavier's mansion.  They got enough problems as is.

It's all good.  They leaves her available for use in an all-Black team =D.

Thanks. I forgot all about Silhouette and M. Of the others, Joanna Cargill and especially Lightbright have real possibilities. From Wildstreak's last Fantastic Four appearance, I couldn't even tell she was Black.
