I had a double feature screening of TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR 2 with my kids. First they made fun of the low budget effects in the first film, then got into it and enjoyed it.  The second film TOTALLY holds up. Still a classic.

That's so funny...  :)

I remember watching 'TERMINATOR 2' in the theater & the visual effects scene where T-1000 walks out of the vehicle explosion, the audience applauded; no one had ever seen anything like that.

The visual effects in 'TERMINATOR' are a bit clunky, I admit, and all we're left with are the great performances by the actors, the dialogue & story, the film editing & soundtrack;  there's still a lot to appreciate.  :)

I'll check it out. I'm still puzzled on the basic plot. This technically ignores everything after part 2, right?
I'm wondering where Arnold-bot comes from this time. last one melted himself.

There's already spoilers on You Tube, but also in some mainstream reviews too, of this film. I won't go into that here. Dark Fate does ignore Terminator 3, Salvation, and Genisys.
