It was about a 6/7 for me. The best part was when she was on the phone the phone talking about Star Trek.

since it is a black female author (and the relative scarcity in the Big Two publishers), I hope that she is allowed to write this for a long while. The optics of a "first-arc cancellation" would be really tacky here.
