he's only the first black quarterback to get in?  geez..

so who else should have been in there?

I was gonna start this thread on Sat, too but I don't know what stopped me.

I wonder why Doug Williams, a Super Bowl winner, is not in there.  Numbers possibly?

The way I see it, black quaterbacks were rare back then compared to today. If we wanna see more black quarterbacks in the NFL Hall of Fame, we'll have to wait until McNabb( ;D), McNair, Culpepper and Vick retire. Followed by more young black quaterbacks to enter the arena like that hunk from Auburn U.

Definately numbers.  He was a Super Bowl MVP and that was far and away the high point of his career.  Other than that, he was a competent but not great quarterback.  I think he's in the college football HOF though.

I would think Randall Cunningham has a much better case.  I think he was good but I don't know about hall worthy.

McNabb and Vick most likely, followed by Culpepper and then McNair.
