Pineapple.  I grew up on the German Fanta - I believe the flavor was splash orange with lemon
(according to the Wiki it is now retired).  That stuff was out of this world.  The closest thing to
it is the pineapple soda.  I also like strawberry soda.  And orange and grape.

I miss the different stuff Canfield's came out with.. But Motown's local, Faygo, has a lot of fruit-flavored items.. But not enough diet versions of them.. Oddest i've seen: coconut cream pie (!)

faygo peach or orange in the bottle as a kid. that sh*t was like 35 cent back in the day for a 16 ounce. that and a dolly madison cherry filed pie that would burn the hell out of your mouth if you microwaved it more that 10 seconds was the bomb. ahh the joys of youth. today i will take a coke or sprite and roll with it.

Isn't Fanta Nazi-Cola? Seriously, I remember that Coke invented Fanta to sell to Nazi Germany because they wouldn't buy Coca-Cola.

I liked Lilt 'The Totally tropical taste', also a Coca-Cola drink, I think, but this was a pineapple and grapefruit drink, advertised in Britain by a Carribbean guy going around 'non-specific Carribbean island #5' on a converted milk float, dropping off cans of this concoction to grinning natives. How shocked was I, when I finally got to St. Lucia, to discover that they had never heard of this drink, and in fact, had quite a few superior ones of their own? My childhood fantasies, shattered! *sob*

Yep, it always takes me a few days to get use to it again. I lived in Mexico for awhile but that a whole different story.

In Mexico and other non-US locations they use real sugar and not frutose corn syrup, which makes it taste better and, relatively speaking, is healthier for you.
