Much of what I know about the Jungle is from the Tupac documentary: Thug Immortal and the L.A. gang documentary on HBO made by Bone from Athens Park. To hear about a reality outside of the gang era is very interesting.

There is a huge population inside of the Jungle that has lived there for years the apartments are HUGE and can be very nice. It's just the heliocopters everynight etc.

But Baldwin Hills has the airplanes and you can't beat the views

Hubby and I were talking the night it was on saying we always hated the fact people called Baldwin Hills the Black Beverly Hills. >>>and there is no beach, no good shopping, and you do remember these are black mamas when do they let you just get away with just anything? And did I mention the schools aren't worth a sh:t? Don't get me started. It's reach for it to be the Black Laguna Beach, sadly.

If you're young you go to Melrose if you really have money you go to Robertson. If want a "mall" type enviroment you go to the Grove.That's why the girls are in Archer private school all the way baby. Painfully expensive I'm looking at 6th grade at an unamed school and it's going to run about $20,000 for year. Can You say ouch for me
The nearest beach is Santa Monica/Venice.

we laugh about this catholic school that a lot people send their kids to from that area and about 30% of the boys were in the same gang.
Feel sorry for me that's why you have to live in the real Beverly Hills  there school is safe until high school. I even thought about using one my friends guest house address in white BH to send my kiddie...but she was a little picky Ain't that BITch!!
