The Batman..anybody watch it?

So "Lost Powers" is the series finale? what is the deal with these animators?! why do all superhero shows end so abruptly? Xmen Evolution ends with the rebirth of Apocalypse; JLU ends with the rebirth of Darkseid; Spawn ended with the war between heaven and hell escalating with what else? the birth of Spawn/Wandas' child!

Wait, JLU ends with the rebirth of Darkseid? You mean the episode where Darkseid tricks Luthor and the Injustice Gang into resurrecting him?  That wasn't the last episode. 



Umm spoilers maybe.  Darkseid was reborn only to meet his end in the next-finale episode at the hands of Luthor with the Anti-life equation.  (Luthor bought it too in the end.  Well, bought it in as much as no-bodies were found).  There was a definite ending here.  Unless I missed something after this.

The climax was the rebirth of Darkseid, after that it was a let down that he went right back to the same thing trying to destroy the earth! you are right in that there was more to be seen, but the rebirth was the climax, remember that luthor never came close to being a Demigod ever again. No scratch that! Wasn't epilogue THE last story? You know when amanda Waller told Terry McGinnis that he was Batmans' clone?

I hope they come out with a complete series dvd set of "The Batman".. i'll wait for that..

I'm really sorry to see the Batman show go.

It didn't take as long for me to warm up to the animation style or character designs as it did for some. I loved Rasta Joker and Goth Riddler.

When they added the Justice League they still managed to keep the focus on Batman. My only quibbles were why no John Stewart (I know, I know the Hal fans have to get something ) and why no Black Canary or Hawkgirl instead of Hawkman.

They didn't try for groudbraking they just tried to entertain and they did a really, really good job of that, I think.

I actually, like when Robin and Batgirl were in the same episode as Batman.

The show had a darker tone when Bats was by himself, but the back and forth banter between robin and batgirl was a little too childish for me. I did like their individual introductions to the show but if you noticed they did not appear together many times

That new theme song was also lousy! it sounded like Hawaii 5-0!

MM, I used to watch H5-0 all the time, but you have to admit the Batman theme song during the first few seasons was a little more edgy and better suited for the show. I equated the new theme song with the introduction of batgirl/robin and their banter back and forth was too much like the wonder twins! I agree the Sandford and Son crossover was lame

i liked the banter between the two. i reminded us that they are kids. Bruce has children in his employ to battle the evils of gotham city and beyond.

I actually thought the flow of the latest animated series was pretty consistent with the Batman mythos, in terms of his progression through Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, etc. i.e.  solo, partner, team player...
