Maybe so but he is calling out on the hypocrisy of Tyler. The product he presents is dayum near gutter trash. Nothing about them are unique or anything. Same old tired stories of the "black Christian and their problems". Madea Goes to Jail was dayum near a sermon. If I want to hear that then I can go back to church. I'll give him credit for creating a Madeaverse with a strong continuity but that is it.
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

Wow they went hard on Tyler..but it was hilarious! Does Aaron not know Tyler and his pal Oprah could crush his little ass :o

He knows but he doesn't care! 8)

The episode is a classic but more to the point I think Mcgruder is going all out to ensure that he can't backtrack on this being the last season.

Now only ONE Black entertainer has gone at Oprah all out and that was Paul Mooney. If you haven't seen the legendary "F OPRAH" routine go to Youtube now!

Oh, Princesa where are you at Millarworld latina?

A really funny episode with a great take on promiscuity and the effect of fatherless homes.

The exchange of the night has to be

Grandad- It's a DNA test

Riley- Well study next time!

McGruder is really going all out. Tyler Perry 2 weeks ago and now a shot at the King of Pop. That DVD money is going STRAIGHT to security.

I agree it wasn't that funny at all.

It may not have been that funny, but I enjoyed it a ton. One of my favorites of the series, I'd say.

It seems Tyler Perry was just a little upset about McGruder's PAUSE episode! 8)

Perry wanted the episode cancelled completely but the best he could get was having the episode buried in the middle of the season. I can only imagine the heat that would've occured if the destruction of Tyler Perry was the season opener.

Perry seems to have instituted a scorched earth policy because of the show.

Mastrmynd, you better not let Tyler catch you in this thread!

Yeah I heard he fired his whole staff, but it turned out it was just a rumor.

Tyler Perry is a hypocrite but he didn't deserve all that. McGruder tried to destroy him...it was overkill at an easy target.

I really wonder what McGruder has in store for the rest of the season.

You can't touch Perry without some repurcussions; so the post BOONDOCKS era ( If this is really the end) will be very interesting.

I will have to check if TBS and Cartoon Network are part of the same company. Another part of the allegations is that Perry is looking to move his franchises from the network because of this.

The ep with Fleece Johnson was hilarious...still haven't seen the Tyler Perry one...and it was funny seeing Fred Sanford, Aunt Esther, and JJ as the Hateocracy. Not understanding the love for  Bushido Jones, he came off as an a-hole, which made his death pretty damn funny to me.

Another great episode!

There were a lot of subjects involved in the episode but it didn't take away from the comedy. The failure of Black men to take healthcare seriously was brilliantly made when Grandad hadn't seen a physician in 56 years! The mentality that it's better to be ignorant of a disease rather than have it diagnosed, is a reality that is killing thousands of us needlessly.

The indictment of the pharmaceutical companies with their incessant advertizing and literal poisoning of the American public was also great. The scene where the side-effects of the viagra variant where recited while he was worried about marijuana spoke volumes.

The exhalting of marijuana as a cure-all wasn't lost in the episode as well. As much as McGruder displayed the hypocrisy about Marijuana's illegality in comparison to alcohol, he also pointed out that Physicians are professionals whose advice should be heeded.
