Was chatting to an Irish guy in the bar the other night, and he was telling me how the drug trade in Ireland had exploded since the IRA decommissioned. Not because they stopped it per se, but because it all went through them. You got all your drugs from an IRA-approved dealer, who gave them a cut, and woe betide anyone trying to buy or sell independently.
