I highly recommend this awards show. The honorees, the musical guests, even the presenters, are all top-notch. More than that, they are all folks deserving of our attention.

Here's the website.
It airs this Friday, 2/22 at 8 pm EST.

I hadn't been up for awhile (a little under the weather) but daughter kept saying we had to watch it and HUGE nod to BET because she choose the awards over AI and nothings beats that except for ANTM. The partts I saw were very good.

it was a good show, but energy was lacking in certain areas.
wifey even changed the channel a couple times.
that rarely happens with a BET awards show.
i'm lookin' forward to next year.

i'm a big fan of cornel west.  it was good seeing him get an award and i knew tyra would cry before her speech ended...but it was a good speech.
