Say what you will, as far as the rap thing...Ice Cube has never faltered. 

Underrated...but always anticipated.

I just wish he'd tackle some serious movie roles.

Well, he'd be playing B.A. Baracus, as played originally by Mr. T.  But seriously, the cast for that movie looks pretty well rounded.
