So then, did anyone see the new Spider-Man cartoon?
« on: March 09, 2008, 04:29:16 PM »
I seen the half of episode two, but all-in-all, the series was good.

So then, what's your opinion on The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series?

I liked the fact that they got PPs' quips right, but the animation sucks

i like it better than transformers:animated.

i honestly do.
gives it a nice youthful feel which ties into his youthful nature.
i really don't have a problem with the show so far... even the voices seem to be topnotch.

I don't think so...but I will start one. That is the sign of a show about to end though... it gets better! I have tried not to get too attached to the show since I knew they were going to end but there are not alot of choices left for superhero fans.

I think this show is a testament to Marvel's failure to do animation right although X Men Evolution was kind of okay. JLU spoiled me to this kind of stuff you have to come better than this.

princesa, i DIG spectacular spidey.
it's just right for the show.
i love pete's voice and look...adn the characters.
it fits becuz it's spectacular!

yes, we were spoiled by jlu but that art team was perfectly suited for that cartoon...it's a continuation on the styles started by batmas:tas, superman:tas, etc...

i got used to x-men, xmen evolution but they weren't great.
marvel has never had a great art team (ie. iron man/avengers, fantastic 4, incredible hulk hour).
garbage 90s animation.
