Kung Fu treachery. And his girl (the militant one). Majorly foxy.

If you guys get the chance, try and catch this in the theater...

Saw it 2 days ago and...

YOU. GUYS. HAVE. TO. SEE. THIS.  MOVIE

;D ;D ;D

From the Jim Kelly-like "oohwee" that Black Dynamite yells every time he hits somebody, to the deliberately bad camerawork to B.D.'s hustler sidekick Foghorn (who is Dolomite in all but name) this flick is a DEAD ON parody/homage to 70's Blackplotation flick.

I refuse to spoil the movie anymore than its alaredy been but watch for Brian McKnight and Arsenio Hall as Pimps.  ;D

"He says that they're payin' homage to me. How can you pay homage to me in a comedy? I don't do comedy. How you gonna pay homage to me? ... I have no idea what the hell 'black exploitation' means, but if you want to call it that, fine. But I don't do comedy, and you can't pay homage to me by doing comedy." - Fred Williamson

I don't know about him, but "Original Gangstas" cracked my sh*t up something fierce.

That response reminded me of the Princess Diana fans who were offended by the concept of a comic book about her life.  "Comic implies something is humorous...." or something along those lines.

Fred don't do comedy?

I see he's never actually watched "Take a Hard Ride"  ;D

IF you didn't laugh at things like "Boss Nigger" you'd cry.

My wife and kids were out of town this weekend and I finally got to see this...
Quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen in years!  I may have to change my screen name to Cream Corn or Tasty Freeze...maybe Crenshaw Pete with the hot coat hangers!  ;D

Best. Effing. Line. Ever. And not just because I'm trying to find "Pimp" in hardback, either.

What's your Black Dynamite name?
« Reply #59 on: November 23, 2009, 02:25:53 pm »

If I could figure out the Ebony Fashion Fair "actress" in the BD trailer (Tambula Qatar?), I'd totally change my name! In fact, if you all were to change your names to BD characters, who would you be? We really do need one Farontae Joe or whoever the Baltimore Colts star playing BD is. And of course, somebody has to be fiendish Dr. Wu.
