Is Monica appearing in Ms. Marvel's "War of the Marvels" in July? She was Capt. Marvel in the past.

To be honest, I'm not really sure if she will or not. But I'll be keeping a look out for her, just in case ;)

Pulsar battles Moonstone Part 2 the Rematch.

If you don't remember their last fight here is  Part 1.

Moonstone ends up back in the hospital again after this fight.

Given the bad blood between Pulsar and Moonstone, I hope to see Monica turn up as an opponent in Ms. Marvel once Moonstone takes over the book! There is even another pre-existing Monica connection in the series, since Machine Man is part of Carol's supporting cast and he and a version of Monica served in Nextwave together. It was revealed that the Monica in Nextwave was an alternate Earth doppelganger, at least part of the time.

Moonstone came out of her last rematch with Pulsar in rather rough shape.

PULSAR IS THE S**T!

Anger is reminded that he is dealing with the Lady Of Light!

Monica floods his Aeromarine ship with X-rays, he is then told that if he doesn't stop his assult on her and her team she will leave him and his crew with permanent cell damage.

His response is to send Homicidal crabs after her ::)

I have to agree with Monica, this is silly now.

Roger Stern talks about creating Monica Rambeau!

MONICA'S CREATION

Secret Wars Minimates - Fan's Choice Poll Results

Yes!! ;D There was a poll asking fans which four Marvel Super Heroes fans wanted to see in an Minimates Secret Wars line?

Guess who's going to be part of the boxset?!

Monica as Captain Marvel , finally gets her own Minimates figure released exclusively by Toys R Us in the fall!
Also Storm with a mohawk and punk, will be part of the boxset, so that's even more of a reason to get this!

MINIMATE MONICA!

Maybe after this there will be a Marvel Legends figure in the works...even though I just got another custom of her in Legends form...but so what I would still get it...lol ;)

Does Monica Rambeau a.k.a. Captain Marvel have anything to do with Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel???   How come the two never acknowledged each other???
I've always thought of the whole Kree warrior cosmic soldier a total mystery to me. It was never clear if Monica Rambeau actually was a part of the Kree lore as Carol Danvers was even though her abilities and costume shared similar elements.  All evidence made it abundantly clear that she [Monica] was indeed, cosmic and related.

Crazy guts!  Maybe a little too risque for 1977 but  place a pierced belly-button on that navel today and you may have something!

Dave Cockrum's opulent redesign.

Captain Marv---I mean, Pulsar is seriously in need of a costume redesign.  Drop the wings under the arms and slim the cuffs on the boots, please!

What's the deal with the Dark Reign event and Moonstone impersonating the original Ms. Marvel?  ...and what happened to my navel-gazing, original costume, Mr. Deodato? ???

ah..

I'd like to get some commissions done with Monica in the older Danvers outfits.. especially the one with the exposed midriff.. hmm..  :-*

During Kurt Busiek's Avengers run there was a one-or-two-part story that involved some aliens kidnapping 'Ms. Marvel' (confusing Monica for Carol) for some nefarious purposes, and the team (which included Carol as Warbird) had to go off-planet to come to her rescue.. they did meet (for the first time? i'm not sure) and Monica remarked on how they clearly must have looked similar to the aliens.. I'm sure Tah has a scan somewhere..  ;)

He will argue you down about it..lol

Your so right Hype, I do have the issue..lol

It was the Wreaking Crew that mistook Pulsar for Ms. Marvel.  ;)

I don't think Monica has a connection to Carol or Mar-Vell. Monica received her powers via an extra dimensional machine and I don't recall there being a Kree connection although one possible theory is that the man that came up with the technology stumbled upon some alien technology that Monica was bombarded with.

Now it's a known fact that Carol is a Mar-Vell's knock off. Her costume and powers will always remind me of her being a imitation of her male counterpart Captain Marvel. I also read somewhere that her blonde hair and civilian name of Carol Danvers form a clear connection to DC Comics's Linda Lee Danvers aka Supergirl.

Monica is her own hero, the original DIVA!

So Battle you don't like her Nextwave look? Her lovely winged cape has been replaced with a long trench coat, her classic cuffed boots were replaced by knee high boots and a complamenting leg guarder belt, her face mask is completely gone but she has a hair barret now. So what do you think?

How about this Captain Marvel look?
