The BLACK PANTHER has been summoned to the depths of his own jungle to investigate a series of killings!

Upon arrival to the scene he finds that someone or something has been hunting his pet BLACK PANTHERS slaughtering them and hanging them skinless from the trees!

This unholy offense against the PANTHER CLAN cannot go unpunished!

T'CHALLA dons his traditional ceremonial PANTHER warrior gear and goes on the hunt for an adversary that seems to leave no visible traces or patterns of evidence to his/her or its' whereabouts!

As the mighty king ventures further into the darkness of his own domain his heightened senses inform him that he is now the one being hunted!

Three laser dots appear on the breast plate of his vibranium weave armor just above his beating heart!

MARVEL COMICS best hand to hand combat fighter looks up just as his adversary unveils himself from a light bending invisible cloaking camouflage!

Hunting season in WAKANDA has just begun!

I am still waiting for Wolvie vs Predator.  Sorry, claws vs blades is a natural.

But let's face it, Predators have been beaten by Arnold, a slightly older cop, Tarzan, scads of humans, Bats, and so on.  The guys can't win. 

The only way to make it interesting; a predator with superior skills, superior weapons and actual sucess before the main fight.

Their are PREDATORS of different caliber!

ARNOLD won by default after taking a major butt kicking!

This could be a PREDATOR that knows who he is hunting and has prepared for the challenge unlike them scrubs in the first ALIEN vs PREDATOR that got taken out way too soon!

He heard from the PREDATOR sitting next to the PREDATOR sitting next to the PREDATOR that WAKANDA had the ultimate hunting ground!

Maybe he found that ship full of dead SKRULLS warning him not to invade WAKANDA and decided to press his luck!

If he lost then he does have the option to trigger his nuke and blow up WAKANDA!

BUT... what if he rolled "DRIVE BY" deep with a team of PREDATORS that also planted ALIEN eggs all over WAKANDA?

STORM has dealt with THE BROOD but not ALIEN HYBRID PANTHERS!

So THE BLACK PANTHER would have to save WAKANDA from embryo infestations and soldiers hanging skinned alive from trees!

That requires a whole lot of fighting and master planning!

i can go along with this if there was a trio of  Predators hunters of varying skill... versus T'challa, T'shan and a Dora Milaje....shot down in the jungles of Brazil.

PREDATORS hunt up to the level of their prey!

If you use a weapon then they use theirs!

If you use hand to hand they take off their mask and drop them FIFTH WARD BEEZ on you!

I don't know what their answer is for a tornado or drastic changes in the weather though!

But for intimacy sake we may want to limit this to PREDATOR vs PANTHER because most PREDATORS are hunting for sport and not necessarily for WAR!

To gain the skull of the most prized adversary would give any PREDATOR bragging rights through out the entire galaxy!

HOWEVER... returning to the the PREDATOR home world with your skull on your own trophy mantle and a clear message that WAKANDA hunting grounds are off limits to any invaders would be quite a revelation!


The visitor from another world takes off his infra-red sight helmet and tosses it to the ground and it lands with a soft thud! T'CHALLA beholds a face that sports wide flaring mandibles and features resembling that of a females... well let's just say that this thing was of no beauty by human standards!

T'CHALLA: "You are one ugly mo... "

The creature bellows a roar that fills the jungle of WAKANDA with an echo that sends birds to the air and herds of four legged beasts fleeing!

ORORO: "GODDESS! That sound!"

The queen rises to her feet and looks over the palace balcony with a troubled concern in her gut! The winds speak to her in a voice of dread and fear!

ORORO: "Where is my husband?"


SOOOO... I say this would be a chance to showcase THE BLACK PANTHER using his own stealth technology along with panther blades and a little mixed martial arts against the best PREDATOR hunter ever!

To make the Predator seem like a viable threat, I would have him take down someone else first.  Someone who makes you realize, BP could loose.  Perhaps, first the Predator kills Killmonger first.

But I always hate when a character gets punked to put another one over, you know what I mean?  I'm a JLI fan...I know all about that

If THE PREDATOR kills someone like KILLMONGER then this should be a ONE SHOT story where even THE MAN APE gets skinned and hung out to dry!

Since this is not in the main continuity then perhaps one of THE DORA MILAJE gets an ALIEN face hugger implantation that endangers the whole existence of WAKANDA itself!

This could all be one big bowl of science fictional fun where BP and STORM are all that remain standing in the heart of AFRICA!

Add me to the support for Predator/Panther... of course, we've already seen the Skrull Invasion, with all of their "superior tech" and all.. 
I'd also like to see Blade and Luke Cage on the Panther's team.. and make it  a MAX series..

Marvel editorial doesn't seem too keen on intercompany crossovers under the Quesada regime... Transformers/Avengers took me by surprise, however.. I can't think of anything else besides Avengers/Justice League, which technically got rolling before Quesada came aboard as chief..

T'CHALLA: "An invisible alien from outer space that wanted to make me into a trophy!"

ORORO: "O-KAAAY!"

T'CHALLA: "Don't look at me like that! With all that goes on in "THE MARVEL UNIVERSE" I should at least be given the benefit of the doubt!"

ORORO: "I wasn't saying anything! If you say you are seeing invisible aliens that want to hunt you I have no reason not to believe you!"

T'CHALLA: "FINE!"

ORORO: "Did you have breakfast this morning?"

ORORO: "I'm just saying! After being pursued by invisible aliens that seek to make you a trophy I thought you might be hungry!"

MEANWHILE!

Camouflaged figures watch in infra red at the couple sharing a quiet moment together and mimic their voice patterns!

PREDATOR 1: "HUNTING WHAT?"

PREDATOR 2: "ORORO!"

PREDATOR 3: "YOU CAN BE SO CUTE SOMETIMES!"

PREDATOR 4: "I KNOW! THAT'S WHY YOU MARRIED ME!"

PREDATOR 5 preps the alien queen for infestation of WAKANDA!




OK... LUKE CAGE and BLADE can happen to show up because in some convoluted comic book way they just happen to be in the neighborhood of WAKANDA probably on a fishing or camping trip!

CAGE is too tough to be harmed but BLADE being one of the undead can be impregnated by an ALIEN face hugger and survive giving birth to a DAYWALKING VAMPIRE/ALIEN HYBRID THINGY!
