Tell us more about her....
Well, I actually like Costa Rica's rules better than ours. She was Vice President but CR requires you to resign to run for President. I think it shows how serious someone is when they don't have a fall back position to rely on. Truthfully, our political positions don't match up. But from what I can tell from meeting her, she is a good person and what Costa Rica wants, so more power to her. Plus, there is nothing crazier than being at RFK for the US vs. CR soccer game and hear the eentire bx yell GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL!!!

"Well, there's one thing for certain... DEATH & TAXES!"Austin plane crash: Pilot appears to target IRS in chilling online rant An Attack On The I.R.S.? Austin, Texas - The small plane that crashed into a huge office building in Austin, Texas this morning was apparently flown by a crazed pilot who first torched his house and posted a long rant against the IRS on the internet. The black glass Echelon Building was not a federal building, but some federal agencies, including a 200-strong IRS office, were housed inside, KXAN-TV reported. What's The Time? O.K... I don't believe I'm paranoid, or schizo or whateverthefkyewannasay but in these trying times, is it really appropriate to have a child directing air traffic while commercial airlines are in operation? ? "Take Your Child to Work Day reached a whole new level when an air traffic controller apparently let his kid direct traffic at New York’s JFK airport, spurring an FAA investigation." http://www.newser.com/story/82307/kid-directs-air-traffic-at-jfk.html

Oh, what's next? We can't hold our kids in our laps and let them steer the wheel?

What do they mean he never heard it coming? What kind of plane was it? Was it as small as a Cessna or bigger?
This if it was a small company then I wouldn't rack it up with the larger plane crashes. The quality of training and regulation might be more lax for them.

Would you believe the victim was wearing an iPod and couldn't hear the plane behind him?

Beside the IPOD, wasn't the airplane just gliding, because the engine stopped. The plane would have silent.

MAYDAY!!! MAYDAY!!!US Navy plane crashes in Arabian Sea... ...again. AAAAHHHH!!! MANAMA, Bahrain - The E-2C Hawkeye, which is primarily used to detect incoming aircraft with its 24-foot diameter radar, crashed in the North Arabian Sea after it "experienced mechanical malfunctions." The plane was used for command and control functions on the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, as well as surveillance. Would you like to know more?http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/31/AR2010033101139.html--------------------------- No... seriously. This is the unit that went down: It's essentially a detector. A flier with a radar dish attached to it. If you've ever played computer strategy games like Starcraft or M.A.X. back-in-th'-day, then you know how important detectors are.

Actually, helicopter and plane crashes in the U.S. military are fairly common. I'm more worried about the state of commerical flight.
