I just finished reading issue #3, and I must say that I want more. It has set up for some big moments next issue. Its a shame that I have to wait a whole month. But good job, Reg.

Agreed.  So the question is what is "the catch" that Ororo referenced and RH slyly avoided revealing to the reader?  It is probably a quid pro quo deal in which she will have to give something up in order to get her husband back.  Whatever "the catch" is I doubt it will be a small thing.

It better not be a divorce!!!

Since when has any life and death situation ever demanded divorce for compensation?

Bought mine yesterday. The anticipation is killing me. I love how Shuri is doing. I hope she gets the job.

But when Morlun attacks, who will be go after? T'Challa or Shuri?

He'll probably go after the strongest totem.  If Shuri completes the trials and becomes the new BP it's possible, with her being new, that T'Challa still has the stronger bond to the Panther God.   That bond would draw Morlun like a moth to a flame.  It would make interesting reading to see Morlun disregard/underestimate Shuri to go after T'Challa first.

But, the PG has NEVER eaten anyone for T'Challa.  ;)

So Wakandans have longevity?
The Shaman told the Queen mother and the Queen that he did not perform this task in over a century?

I've had enough of Marvel characters having to make deals in order to save people. I say Queen Ororo agrees to the conditions, saves T'Challa and then finds a way to reverse whatever deal she made with the Shaman...trick the Shaman!!!!!!

And then when the Shaman realizes that he has been had, and is standing in the temple or wherever he is, looking all stupified, the King and Queen can take each other's hand and go skipping off to the Royal Palace to plot TOGETHER how to best take down Norman Osborn and his Cabal.

Yup, I deal would ruin the arc and volume for me. It was done in spiderman and there are a lot of folks that are pissed.

If it is a deal, maybe their first child has to tutor under this shaman. Maybe, Ororo has to tutor under him, or maybe even T'challa.

i could see the shaman training ororo in the ways of magic and witch craft.  it would make sense considering her lineage.
the game is messed up,  singers want to be gansters, gangsters want to be rappers, and rappers want to  be actors

I hope the concept runs.more along the lines of--

Doing this will shorten your life by 20 yrs; doing this will cost your your powers (in part of whole), doing this will cost your a physical sickness or something along the lines what she is doing puts a strain on the body.

I'd rather do that than deal concept.

I think that the Shaman teaching Queen Ororo magic and witch craft is a fantastic idea...helping the Queen to become the best person she can be while unleashing her full potential...the power to manipulate the weather and the power of magic/witchcraft/sorcery...

Why Storm is not an A-list hero, I'll never understand.

The thing is, becoming a student isn't a cost, a price unless she has to give up something to do it.

Gaining more power without suffering is a reward, not something to be feared.

Btw, for those who follow the X-men, isn't one of the X-men a healer?  And does Angel's blood still heal?  If either one are yes, wouldn't she be going to them, even over Wakandan objections?  The distance n time wouldn't matter either, bc with X n Wakandan tech, that trip isn't long.
