I'm surprised people aren't complaining that Monica and Brother Voodoo are dating "because they were black" lol.
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

LOL Yes, cause lord knows there's no other reason for black folks to date.

I also loved that Monica talked a good game but for real Voodoo was smashing....

I've read number 2 and it was ok. I agree with TahDigga regarding Monica is coming off as the angry black woman. It is funny that Brother Voodoo is a stalker. I wonder will the writer of Doctor Voodoo have her make a cameo regarding this mission that was brought up in issue 2 of Marvel Divas
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

This was a fun little series, more about bonding and friendship than butt kicking. They managed to stay away from the more salacious aspects of Sex And The City.

Its interesting that Puma got dumped by the Black Cat for basically telling her the truth. Is even funnier that Photon can only be in a relationship with Doctor Drumm(I refuse to call him Doctor Voodoo ::) ) as long as she doesn't actually CALL it a relationship. Then you've got Hellcat and her ex the Son Of Satan. ;D

The only person in the group who isn't lying to themselves is Firestar.

She misses Justice and says so. She scared she'll die of Cancer and says that. She refuses to have her friends sacrifice themselves for her and she says so.

I'd like to see a sequel to this with possibly other (more popularl) characters.
