The funny thing is, it started as a music video show called bet.com countdown. And I said, if you're going to call it that, we should talk about the whole wired world - gaming, gadgets, etc. So it morphed into the show you see now. the videos which now annoy you were once the core of the show! Interesting...
To me, it wasn't really so much that there were music videos, I didn't think the particular selections
were appropriate. I think T.I.'s Shoulder Lean is played out, don't care much for Game's One Blood
because it sounds like a beef song, and although I'd love to ride Busta from here to kingdom come,
that Rick James Ghetto thing is played out too. It was just all so gangsta. IMO.
I don't know much about the demographics thing but it didn't seem that the people who would
have the wherewithal to acquire the featured gadgets would have preferred those particular cuts.
From my experience of selling electronics at eBay, I found women buy the majority of electronics.
Men tend to buy accessories for their cars.
Regardless of all of that, if the videos would have been brand new or recent releases, with them
being pimped as video downloads (I'm sorry but I didn't notice that they were - I was cooking and
eating and running back and forth between the kitchen and TV) that would have made them more
relevant to the show. Downloads of the featured animations would be cool too.
And did I mention you were cute in the interview. Cute as in handsome
