Issue #10 will give you another glimpse into the kind of power upgrade T'Challa's getting.  Not everything is measured in how many tons a hero can lift, but in how many kinds of battles he's prepared for.

As seen in previous stories, Panther is the "king" (corny, but I had to do it!) of prep for battle scenarios, just like Batman and a few other geniuses. I can't wait to see his preparation abilities continue.

I wonder if it's precognition. That would be a good asset to have in battle.

Traditionally TíChalla is something like a four across the board except for intelligence where heís an eight (Reed Richards is a nine). His strength (and maybe stamina) just got jacked up to five. Without the Panther powers Iím assuming that his speed, reflexes and agility all got knocked down to three.

Steve Rogers in comparison is a four everywhere EXCEPT Stamina and Intelligence, where heís a five.

Indeed, but he looked mighty fast in the last issue. I'm thinking he has gone up to at least 5's across the board, with intelligence 8. At least...

This about sums up my thoughts on BP too,as imho it makes him officially what he IS: the most balanced nonmega-powered superhero in the MU.

I do think that his strength should be 6,although I don't think that a 6 Strength is THAAAT advanced. Scott Mendelhossen benched over a thousand pounds. Wakanda has 10,000 years of superior civilization and BP is the incarnation of that superior civilization's ideals; plus they have the active patronage of a powerful patron aka TPG. Ultimate CA benches around 5 tons,so should 616 BP. No question,I would think.

Mr. Maberry let me first say another excellent issue, you are doing your damn thing on Black Panther.  Now to my request which I will gladly say is a request for all BP fans because the curiosity is agonizing for all of us diehard BP fans. Can you rate for us based on the Power/ abilities grid given in this thread where T'Challa was before and where he is now. I ask because in issue 10 the only thing we found out about his new upgrade is that he is impervious to mystical attacks, and possibly becomes stronger when magic is used against him ( granted that is a huge advantage) but does that mean he impervious to all forms of magic and energy attacks. If you can throw us another bone and complete this request that would be great, trust we still will be surprised when it all comes full circle. Also is that 1 ton correct for his strength, I was expecting at minimal 5tons, we donít need him Luke Cage strong but can he at least be stronger than Paladin? (Just a thought) ;D

Also will T'Challa appear in the Official Marvel Universe Handbook?
