With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

Hawaii Five-O and Dallas are my favorites. Most of these aren't in the running for the best, they're just memorable.

Maude
Gimme A Break
Hangin With Mr. Cooper (EnVogue)
Pump It Up (great open too)
Dukes Of Hazzard
The Cosby Show (South Pacific)
Alice
Chico and the Man
Rap City (KRS-One)
Bonanza
Wild Wild West
Moonlighting
Curb Your Enthusiasm (it's impossible to be mad while listening to it)
Looney Tunes (On With the Show This Is It)
Challenge of the Super Friends
Land of the Lost
H.R. Puffinstuff
Banana Splits (tra la la, la la la la)

Also,

Green Acres
The Beverly Hillbillies
Pink Panther
Peter Gunn
Perry Mason
Soul Train (take your pick)

Definitely Spider Man the one with the old horns and some noteables...

Mission Impossible
The Green Hornet

and my personal fav..."Now the world don't move to the beat of just one drum..."

I'd like to see rappers sample some of this.. like the barney miller instrumental..  I have a dim memory of somebody sampling "Night Court".. I think it was Cam'ron..

I don't know if Cam ever did Night Court but he did do Hill Street Blues (they sound very similar), Magnum, yes, and Monday Night Football (Let Me Know)

Yeah, you're right. I've always wondered why no one caught that but then If you ever heard Positive K's 1st album there is a track called 'Shakin'* that I thought the Barney Miller bassline was thrown in there, but it's not.
That Barney Miller bassline is mean.

Yet,  Cheers was sampled in LL COOL J's 'Clap Your Hands' (which I liked). :)

*I think it's called that
