Malcolm X easily. And on my list MLK might not make the top five.

And who took the bullet before Martin?

Two of my favourite quotes:

“If a man has not found something he will die for, he is not fit to live” by MLK.

Versus

"Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." by Malcolm X.

I’ll go with Malcolm.

Quite a few fell, but we're discussing Martin Luther King aren't we?

EDIT:  Let me just add...  Martin Luther King lobbied very hard and very long to get a bill passed through the house, congress and signed by an American president.  Although, Malcolm was transforming culture as well as himself on the street level, it was King that paved the way into the White House for this current president.

they had different goals and different means of approaching them. If they weren't both black no one would think to put them in the same category.

No choice here.

Bro. Malcolm..... because his life was the perfect example of self-transformation and change.

From pimp to convict to preacher to icon. Amazing journey.

I have a great deal of repect for the great and honorable MLK, but he helped to lead us into a burning house. Didn't MLK have a i have nightmare speech or something like that? I'm going with the younger Malcom X on this one!.

Marcus KING Garvey should be on the the top of the list! If it wasn't for him there probaly wouldn't be a Malcom X. ;) Some of you enjoy your red, green and black flags don't you?
