Green is okay but I don't do One-Issue parties. They make for fanatics.

Libertarians are worse than Rebs. Anyone who believes in a "free market system" as the panacea for what ails society is either crazy or misinformed.

Socialism can't work in the united states. it only works in small mono-ethnic countries.

Communism was crap from Day One.

Anarchy also, crap. Infantile crap.

I have no idea what a party would have to be to actually attract me. Not being shills for big business would be a plus though. Frankly I think we should do away with political parties. We have the technology now for there to be a One Person, One Vote, system at ALL levels. We don't need primaries OR political parties anymore.
Soon you will come to know. When the bullet hits the bone.

Parties are brands, which make for easier marketing in a world of too much information.  The internet is like drinking from a firehose;  most people don't want to do all that comparison analysis.  "It's from Apple/Tyler Perry/the Republican Party, so it must be good".

Well, there's a hell of an insight to start the morning!
I reckon the same is true for media outlets. Most folks don't seek alternative points of view, just confirmation of their own views.

Free market system? You know I heard Ron Paul talk about that. I'm ashamed to say I really don't know what that is?  ???

As for Libertarians. You know I once took a test to see where on the political spectrum I lied on. It came out Democratic Libertarian ... but I don't remember any questions about 'free market system'

Isn't free market system Capitalism anyway ... or is it more?

I can agree with that.  :)

Republican Sue Lowden wants you to Barter With Your Doctor!

This b**ch is trippin! ::)

QFT.  But on the same order of negotiating price with your doctor, such a system exists in Japan (negotiation, not barter) and costs are still lower than in the US.
