Thanks for the kind words Battle and Princesa. My collection is most definitely all Black Panther. Since I was a child I've been collecting everything BP. My introduction to Black Panther came with a coverless Jungle Action # 13 entitled The God Slayer.
One look at the first page and I was captivated. The book was serious. It was rich in context. Mature. The writing was poetic "It was a night when a man can reach and believe he can touch the stars, that he is part of the cosmological scheme of things! A night when a man could believe he is an integral part of the universe. Not omnipotent. Not superior. Just unique and unto himself." The art work had a palpable texture enshrined in a dark and mood. The Panther was alone facing insurmountable odds with heart and soul. What more could a child ask for. This was the Black Panther. This was my hero.
