You ever thought about doing those training videos? The guy Ryan who is one of the actors/narrator for the American Red Cross cpr first aid training dvd is a regular on the wire. Also one of the actresses from the movie The Best Man, can't remember her name narrates/acts in a training video I show my staff on Time Management. Just saying that has to be a nice check right there and it is exposure.

The "Ted" guy from the Mary Tyler Moore Show had been auditioning for years. The producer/director would say something that really touched me to this day: They could see that "Ted" had brought a new suit for the audition and that he really needed the job...BAM, Grand Slam Home Run.

"Ted" kept trying. Me? I've about given up on those dreams. No tears needed or wanted but I do admire one who puts it out there.

Hey if you don't grab a star at least you'll have the moon.

 ;D

you are the 2nd angel that I have run into in the past 24 hours.
My wife and I met one yesterday who told us to continue loving one another. You had to be there. It was a crazycool moment. Talking to a stranger at a pizza joint led to a cool azz moment.

Now you.

I'm on my grind in '08.  My dream and my wife keep me going.  With support from internet ppl like you and the rest of my HEFfa brethren, I can't lose.

I ride out to Louisiana tomorrow to book this Bernie Mac film.  I'm gettin' it. Believe that!

Thanks tank.

Hey MM, good to hear how much grind you're putting in. I have to admit, I'm a 9 to 5 guy, but I admire people who put effort into doing things differently. 08 Look slike it'll be a good year for you.

'preciate that brother!
i go thru seasons where i'm mentally "done" with the 9 to 5... and all i want to do is work on what makes me happy: acting & radio.

i'm in one of those seasons now.
Lord willing, I will get the role in the Bernie Mac movie.  If it is the 'rapper' role, then I know I will be on set for at least a few days.  When this becomes a reality, I will ask for a hiatus at work.
i can almost earn my paycheck in one day's work of filming.  Can you believe it?

It's been awhile since i've TRULY wanted, wished and constantly prayed for a role.  I'm like this now.  I can usually tune an audition out and wait for the news, but NOT THIS ONE.

Aaargh.
It is consuming me.
I had a GREAT audition and I enjoyed the 18 hour roundtrip roadtrip to Shreveport.  What an adventure!!

I don't know what is gonna happen but I do know that something VERY POSITIVE WILL come out of it.

You can take THAT to the bank.

Thank you for your love and support, HEF.
I'm so happy to be a HEFfa!

ps: Watch BOYCOTT on BET jan 18th.  I'm in it!  It's a great movie even if I wasn't in it.  Geoffrey Wright plays a dayam good Dr. King.

After you watch it, i'll tell y'all some behind-the-scenes stories involving me, Mr. Wright, Terrence howard, heath gunn, etc...

ps2: my 32nd birthday is January 21st.  I like surprise parties.
ps3: David Yardin's bday is Jan 21st, too.  He's cool like me   8)
