what was it like working with the actors? any of them like to improv? did it hurt when pop brown smacked you with the snickerdoodle?
You listened to the interview Hype? If so, cool! Thanks for the support.
To answer your questions:
1. I love working on the set of Tyler Perry Studios. I guess I made an impression because all of the crew remembers me and shows me love whenever I'm on set.
2. On House of Payne, "Curtis Payne" likes to adlib. On Meet the Browns, "Mr. Brown" is a comedic genius and he adlibs at the drop of a hat. Like I said in my interview, we went toe to toe adlibbing and I never broke character. I'm the first actor to NOT break character during a taping with him. My Legend at TPS grows even bigger. LOL.
The thing I love about working with TPS is that they allow you to adlib...but only if it works.
Half of my lines in my 2nd and 3rd episodes of HoP were adlibs that I did during the table read. The writers loved it so much that they put it into the final script.
3. Yes. It hurt like 'heck' when I got popped in the mouth with those snickerdoodles. That was an honest reaction that I had. LOL. But I was still able to stay focused and continue on with my lines.
