You listened to the interview Hype? If so, cool! Thanks for the support.
To answer your questions:

1. I love working on the set of Tyler Perry Studios. I guess I made an impression because all of the crew remembers me and shows me love whenever I'm on set.
2. On House of Payne, "Curtis Payne" likes to adlib.  On Meet the Browns, "Mr. Brown" is a comedic genius and he adlibs at the drop of a hat. Like I said in my interview, we went toe to toe adlibbing and I never broke character. I'm the first actor to NOT break character during a taping with him.  My Legend at TPS grows even bigger. LOL.
The thing I love about working with TPS is that they allow you to adlib...but only if it works.
Half of my lines in my 2nd and 3rd episodes of HoP were adlibs that I did during the table read. The writers loved it so much that they put it into the final script.
3. Yes. It hurt like 'heck' when I got popped in the mouth with those snickerdoodles. That was an honest reaction that I had. LOL.  But I was still able to stay focused and continue on with my lines.

I had a great audition yesterday.
The director of the movie & the casting agent personally requested me to audition for a role. Cool, huh?

Anyway, after it was all said and done, the director stood up, smiling and said, "Wow! You nailed it!"

That's word for word what the director said. What does it mean? As of now, it means that I felt really good after my audition. Other than that, I will have to wait and see if I booked the role. I'm excited because I didn't hold back...i left it all in the audition. We'll see what happens.  I just wanted to share.

More details later.

ps: Being on the Feud in the next few days is totally exciting. As much as I've wanted this to happen, I still can't believe it is happening. lol

Well...now I know what it means when a director says "you nailed it."
:)
I booked the role.
I'm going to be in a movie with Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon.

 ;D

And the only reason why I am NOT super crunk about this is because I'm focusing in on the 48Hr Film Project here in Atlanta.
It's late and I need to go sleep on Cloud 9.

48Hr?  48Hr as in Eddie Murphy 48Hr...?

48HR film project as in...your team has 48hrs to write, direct, edit a film using these specific things: character name/ Jackson/Jackie (athlete), prop: cell phone, line: "why don't you try that again." Genre: Comedy.

It's different for each team. Luck of the draw got us comedy for the 2nd time.

Without further ado, here is our film, "The Runs":  https://vimeo.com/44394074

Let me know what you think.

Having a hard time trying to get the video to load. Having a problem with buffering...

I reported the problem to Vimeo.  Hopefully, the issue will be resolved.

Hey, I got as far as Dr. Sylvia Platt saying,

"Hi!"  and then the video freezes. :-\

EDIT:   Don't worry 'bout it.  The issue could be on my side of the monitor. :-[ :-\
I'll get it running...  someday. >:(

O.K. finally got Vimeo to run the video on my PC...

 "The Runs"

I liked it. I genuinely like it but...

It would be funnier If you edit the material down to 1 and a half minutes because it's 5 -6 minutes too long. The way the story plays out you cannot possibly keep all of the performances in to make it all work so some of them will have to go.  To me, the most important pieces of dialogue that stood out from the rest was Dr. Sylvia Platt's remarks, and the guy at 5:10 who says,

"I don't have anything written but..."

However, I would begin his remarks further down the counter to what he says most pertinent. The other characters can really just function as disembodied voice-overs. Some of the  antics between Jackson and the female (the one who is trying to show him how to dance) should stay. The exasperated reaction shots from the other spectators should stay but keep them fleeting.  Once you gather all of that stuff, then it becomes a balancing act of how funny this material can really be when you put the scenes in some kind of order that demonstrates the serious epidemic of Rythmless Uncontrollable Neurotic Syndrome. It would be a good idea to keep the story short, simple and sweet.

Overall, you've got some good footage there. Not funny yet but good stuff so far.

Thanks for the critique.
Believe it or not, this was pared down from about 10mins. lol.
I didn't direct or edit this project... this time I was just an actor.

Next year I will start my own team for the 48hr film project.

Is today the day for a shoot or the show has already been shot and it's going to air today?
