I keep reading a lot of debate over this one. 

Jaywalking is a silly crime and not an arrestable offense.

However, the girls should not have physically been resisting arrest. Right or wrong, that's the only thing to do to survive, no matter how unfair the charge is.

But if you're the cop trying to arrest someone, and they are resisting, what do you do? 

Certainly I'd rather be punched than tasered.
