GREEN LANTERN #0 - Boy I liked this more than I expected.  And that cover is hot to death.

ULTIMATE SPIDER MAN #14 - This is why crossovers can suck.  I didn't care about the universe-wide event.  Yes, they dealt the the issues from previous storylines, but it felt like a fill in issue.

ANIMAL MAN #0 - Damn good.

INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #524 - Best book of the week.  This story just keeps getting better and better.

HAWKEYE #2 - This book is so much better than I would ever imagine it to be.  The art is so inventive.  And that logo is so damn tasteful.

CROSSED:  BADLANDS #13 - I had walked away from this series, but flipped through this one and now I'm back in.

CREATOR OWNED HEROES #4 - This issue wraps up the two stories they have been running.  Good stories but I didn't want them to end. And why end both at the same time?  Stagger them so the readership will try the new story then switch off.

The return of the Valiant universe is very successful to me.

ARCHER AND ARMSTRONG #1 & 2 - were very good. Reminded me how much I enjoyed the book first time around.  Also enjoying update.

BLOODSHOT #3 - At this point, this series is better than the original.  Although I probably need to reread the first series.

SILK SPECTRE #3 - Wow, that was a damn good book.  Incredible art.  Some of these Before Watchman books are finding themselves.

BATWING #0 - Not bad at all.

AvX #11 (a Bendis one) Good reads, Charles was a boss.

New Avengers #30 (you know who wrote this)  Another good read, I kinda didn't see that coming...kinda.

Avengers Assemble #7 (Bendis yet again) ok, I have to admit the book was meh.  I'm not really into the cosmic stuff.

Green Lantern CORPS #0 Told the co-workers I'd read something different, something I wouldn't usually read and this was it.  Very good read, Guy, Hal, who are these Lanterns?!?  Hal is the Air Force guy right?

THE NEW AVENGERS #30 - Man, I wil miss nice Bendis stories like this.  All about character, with enough action to keep it exciting.

WOLVERINE AND THE X MEN #15 - Great relaunch of the Hellfire Club.

THE VICTORIES #2 - Picking it up for the first time, and enjoyed it.  Really made me realize how much I like Oeming's art.

A VS. X #11 - One of the best issues in this series.

ORCHID #9 - Damn fine issue.

AMERICAN VAMPIRE #4 - Dustin Nguyen's art is insane.

CROSSED:  WISH YOU WERE HERE trade paperback - dark, sad, great art and writing.

Green Lantern Annual & Issue 13 have been excellent character driven stories from Geoff Johns....brought me back to buying this series and they introduce a new GL......everything is on point here.

Aqua Man #0 was another exceptional issue from Geoff Johns & Ivan Reis....didn't even like this character ever and good writing has turned me into a fan.  This is why you read comics ....superior writing and some good art.

The best book out right now is PAD's X Factor.....he is blowing it out of the park with award winning level writing...just phenomenal with his current arc that explodes in issue #244...it just doesn't get any better than his current run which pulls out old dangling plot lines, creative dialogue and shocking twists to pull characters into completely different directions.  This is right on the mark and keeps me buying comic books....PAD has artisitically revitalized this industry in my opinion.

Having read ish #0, I went ahead and tried #13: The most spectacular thing in this book is that FINALLY, DC had "dated" themselves with a black president...its not just a shadow of a figure being the president.  They actually dated themselves like they did back in the day when Supes fought Nazis.   :D

Ultimate Comics Spider-man #16 - Great reads.  When you think this book can't get any better, Bendis does it again...how can you not like this kind of writing!   ;D

AvX Consequences #2 - Never heard of Kurth but his art was slammin imho as for Gillen's story, just a bunch of head games between Cyke and Wolvie, Cyke being a bitch and trying to take the easy way out.

New Avengers #31 - yea another Bendis book, what can I say, well I can say Bendis must be wrapping it all up and bringing him some friend...we got Gaydos art from his Alias series, the one with Jessica Jones in it.

HAWKEYE #3 - best book of the week, simple, fun story with great art.

MINUTEMEN #4 - Very affecting.  Well done.

DAREDEVIL #19 - Mark Waid's work on this book is underrated.  Without throwing everything out, he's made it a straightforward comic again, but not a hacky one at all.  Great ending to this issue.

NEW AVENGERS #31 - It's been a great run and issues like this is why I will miss Bendis on Avengers.

ORCHID #10 - I hope Tom Morello keeps writing comics.

THE WALKING DEAD #103 - Whooo...hell is other people for REAL.

MARVEL ZOMBIES HALLOWEEN ONE SHOT - Super well done book.

JUSTICE LEAGUE #13 - I never understood Cheetah, never bought that she was WW's ultimate enemy.  And still don't, but this is the best use of her I've seen.

A-Babies vs X-Babies:  Not the same without Art Adams art.   ;)

National Comics: Madame X:  So, I read another DC Book, Jesse's rubbin off me.  Good stuff, really interesting story.  With art and story like that, wish it would continue.  Trevor Hairsine, remember him?

Pa-ruse trough it when you are at your LCS.

AVENGERS #32 - The return of the Wasp!  Bendis is cleaning up unfinished business before he leaves the book.  Hope the generic bad guy doesn't take more than an issue to dispatch.

SECRET AVENGERS #33 - The Descendants is a great concept.

INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #527 - Solid ending to a great story arc.  One of many "end of an era" runs in Marvel books.  Curious to see what the new stories and writers will bring.  Certainly a lot to live up to.

FF #23 - Final issue.  I couldn't really understand it.

ULTIMATES #17 - Great villian.  Still don't love this story arc.

INVINCIBLE #96 - What an ill story!  And the upcoming arcs looks very narly.

CAPTAIN AMERICA #19 - Final issue.  Man, everyone loves Brubacker's storytelling, but that Steve Epting art is not praised enough.

BATMAN INCORPORATED #4 - Grant keeps coming with new concepts and finds great artists.

short stack this week.

A + X - issue 001.  Cute fill in story.

HIT GIRL #4 - Millar keeps it raw.

ULTIMATE SPIDER MAN 16.1 - Glad the tie-ins are over and the series is back to normal.

HAPPY! #2 - Fun to read, but nothing will ever top Grant pitching the story to me.  #foralltime

I thought that the R. R. GotG joke at the Police precinct was funny.
