Chris Rock VS Ricky Gervais: MTV music awards VS Golden Globes

Both are great performances but I think Rock was the first comedian to attack celebrities that aggressively at an awards show. Gervais showed no hesitation whatsoever and struck everything in sight.

A draw from me.

Chris won because his jokes were less inside.  The man on the street interviews at the Magic Johnson theatre where he asked REAL people what their favorite movies were was perfect.  It showed the gulf between Hollywood and Main Street.
