Lego because...


...they're much more colorful and creatively (or at least used to be) kid friendly with adults.

Tinkertoys don't leave much room for a kid's imagination by designing miniature replica vechicles and I have absolutely no idea what Lincoln Logs are. :-[

We have had all of those and Legos wins in a landslide. My kids at 13 and 10 will still play with them. I think the ability to build anything engages them much more than other types of building blocks.

I do!  I would buy them for my kid if they still sold them.

I never had them but my son loves building stuff.
