What Are You Listening To?

Revived!
New Birth Brass Band - Apache.
It shouldn't work, but a brass band version of the Sugarhill Gang turns out to be genius!
Tonto, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it!
Kemosabe, jump on it, jump on it, jump on it! ;D

I'm groovin to Beres Hammond for now.

Don't know why, but I caught myself singing the chorus to Cherish's Unappreciated.   :o

a) An idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about.
b) A liar who is a fan who can't admit it to himself or others."

Corrine Bailey Rae.  Wow.  This is my fifth or sixth time through this album so I'm really starting to hear it.  She's really good and this is good material for her.  A little off the beaten pop trail.  I recommend it.

Been in rotation in the car for months and months now. Arguably the best album of the year.

I don't get much of a chance to listen to music that much anymore, what with kids, work, and everything else.. (Did I mention work? well it should be listed twice just for the amount of time it takes from me..) So my music is confined to Whip's. And here's what I like when I drive each.

While Driving the wife's mini-van. Damn thing cost more then my Vette. Fricking DVD, Bose Sound system, Stow & HO. rear camera, Auto-matic doors and lift gate. Sheesh!! I  must have lost hafl it's value just driving off the lot!!

I listen to:
Old school. Papa Jhon Creech..
I'm a sucker fo the blues. Since I can't find much of the old classics on CD I've made Cd's dub's from my vinyl. And the Van has a MP3 player. (well it should fo what it cost!!) Besides every time I drive the mini-van I get the blues.. LOL

For the Vette:
OLd School.  AC/DC LIve.. yah yah I know I'm just an old dude rocker. But there's nothing like pumping out some AC/DC while touring about.
Also LUDloulouloudicriss!! "I drive two miles an hour so eveybody see's me!"

For the work rig, Dodge hemi Big honking truck. I dig on the new sounds..
New School  The soundtrack to: Hustle & Flow.
New School (And I see RH feels me on this..) Connie Ray B... My favorite track being "Call me when you get this" I also like "Trouble Sleeping" and "Breathless".
New School I've been diggin on Akon, both hits "Wanna Love you" with Snoop and "Smack That" with Eminem

For the Jeep:
I don't know why I feel I got to listen to country when I driving that lil jeep but damn if I don't keep putting some Hee haw crap in everytime??
New: Carrie Underwood (Is it the music? or is it that she's just plain HOT!)
Old: George Strait (Say what you will, but that old dude can sing and plays a damn mean guitar too)

For the Jag..
Well this is the family out to dinner vheicle.. so It's like "The Missing Teens" music for young adults..  arggg mostly but hey the kids dig it and not all of it is that bad.

The motorcycle.. Nothing! but the sound of the wind... hey I live in MN, I only get to ride the thing in the summer, sometimes I get lucky and the summer happens on a weekend. :)

Love your broad taste in music, Goat.  And that you're man enough to admit you've got a mini van.  Of course, with a Jag, a Vette and a motorcyle, your manhood is firmly in place.
