A long time ago
On this actual web site
Someone started a thread on Rap
Basically, of all the songs that changed Rap
It had to be a White Boy: "Alone Again...Naturally"
The White Boy, Gilbert O'Sullivan had 'ended' Sampling
"Alone Again" was a childhood favorite and I listened again
But there on YouTube, off to the side I saw other songs from him
There was one song in particular I discovered, his first hit, in England
Now I blow Karaoke crowds away with a song they never heard in their life

Gilbert O'Sullivan- "Nothing Rhymed"
"nothing older than time. nothing sweeter than wine..." Geez-us! What a gem! Great melody & folk-like tune. A must listen or highly recommended. The HEF would love to hear "Karaoke Tanksleyd"! right-on!
HIP HOP DON'T STOP!
the new rookie hip-hop-bunch gets a lot of criticism. some of it is well deserved. still, I'm thrilled with a few stand out artists.
Jeezy - "All There" ft. Bankroll Fresh (2016) Jeezy is a vet but still trap rappin @ the top of his game
Kodak Black has to be one of my favorite rookies. He's country AF but I dig his style & lyricism! he leads the pack IMO
French Montana - Lockjaw ft. Kodak Black (2016)
Coach Ta' Nehisi Coates used the phrase "LIT" in the BP comic. well, it's about to get real LIT for 10 stacks
Dj Scream -"Lit" Feat. 21 Savage, Juicy J & Young Dolph (2016) 21-21-21 Savage is a favorite but I kinda feel the criticism he gets.
Chief Keef -"Faneto" (2016) Danm this song goes hard! I wish I had dreads...
Speaking of soundtracks...
Another great Disney Princess film & villain song. Jemaine Clement as Tamatoa "Shiny"
