The Vision eh?

well it is 2008 and i am the first post of 08 so lets get it crackin.

To be honest as i continue to read the black panther. I am determined to become close to the real life american style version of him. If it is by becoming a weathly business owner that has something that everyone wants and needs then so be it.
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

You wanna be the equivalent of BP? Coo.Not COOL,I mean "coo".Lol.But on the BP side, you might wanna add in virtually unmatched intellect, physical perfection, tech and resources the envy of the world and at least about a century ahead of everyone else.Of course,a multiple millenia-old country populated by extraordinarily brilliant, unbeatable warriors, could be helpful, too. And if your woman is fine as hell and can throw lightning bolts...

...can you hook me up with her sister?

it was a bit of some humor to get someone to post in this thread in particular. But in some form or fashion I am making an attempt in the physical perfection and running a business since im in real estate and planning to start a mobile dry cleaners.
With these choices, I felt that the American black man only needed to choose which one to get eaten by; the liberal fox or the conservative wolf because both of them will eat him.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but one small caveat:

Quote
(I wonder if the Black Panther Party in Oakland had gottent  famous first, would Stan have used the name anyway? Well, he didn't change it, so double-Kudos to him!)

Marvel did change Panther's name for a short time, to Black Leopard, for the very reason that they did not want him associated with the BPPFSD.

Quote
[Black Panther] later returned in a guest-appearance capacity in Fantastic Four #119 (Feb. 1972) during which he briefly tried the name Black Leopard to avoid connotations invoking the Black-militant political party the Black Panthers. When the Thing asked about the name change, he responded "I contemplate a return to your country, Ben Grimm, where the latter term has -- political connotations. I neither condemn nor condone those who have taken up the name, but T'Challa is a law unto himself. Hence, the new name --a minor point, at best, since the panther is a leopard."
