Anybody catch it.

I was pleasantly surprised by what it was not.

Amazing look. Not surprising though, because "Restless City" was shot by the same cinematographer.

It was a very good movie. I too was surprised, very well done and not heavy-handed. I didn't know Kim Wayans had it in her. Everyone was good.

The fact that it wasn't heavy handed surprises me.  There was more "joy" rather than the ominous cloud.  I was REALLY surprised by Kim Wayans too.  I did not know she had the chops for serious roles.  I was happy for her.

It was a good 'movie' movie rather than a 'message' movie. No good guys or bad guys just people trying to make their way and you could identify with everyone.

...and this movie and actors are whom the Image Awards should honor instead of the same ole stuff by the same folks every year. If Tyler Perry or Halle wins so help me...
