Right, that cartoon was from the era when people were still outraged by the ubiquity of media, before we as a culture completely gave into the matrix.

With the entity known as "Rap Music" as a shining example: From Vivian Thomas' science to Marvin Gaye's music, if the WHOLE goal is to be "equal to White" then we have failed before we began to gain a significant representation in any endeavor. Dare I say that Tyler Perry is an example of this "Rap Music: logic.

I often like to use the example of two identical twins. If the whole goal of one is to be "EQUAL" to the other then the whole thing is wasted.
