Whole heartly agree Redjack.  That series made me like Ultra Boy, and wanted to see more Kono, Shakespear Kent and the new generation of GL.  (I just wished they finished that storyline.)  The only era of LOSH I like a little better is the era around "The Great Darkness" story, but some of the same creative energy was in both periods so that fits.

Andre Owens' FORCE GALAXIA is sot of like the good version of the Legion.

Thor...back during the entire Walt Simonson run (around issue #337)...phenomenal

Uncanny X-Men....back around the end of the Dark Phoenix Saga issue # 139 or #140 and again during Paul Smith's run as one of the superior artists around issue #165...those fine lines were outstanding....and Claremont was at the top of his game.

Daredevil....most of Frank Miller's original run was superior stuff.....

Legion during Paul Levitz's original run was top notch too....

George Perez back during the 80s/90s was the best...whether on Teen Titans, Titans or Wonder Woman...he set the pace for the game...

First couple of years of Starman by James Robinson & Tony Harris. Robinson has never topped this book (at least from what I've read of his since then)

This wasn't the start of Peter David's extended run on Hulk, but this is where I started (started tracking down back issues later). Just a cool storyline and introduction of psycho villain Madman.
