Starsky & Hutch had thier Gran Torino. Baretta had his Chevy.  Jim Rockford had his Pontiac Firebird, so did Micheal Knight.  Mary Tyler Moore had her Ford Mustang.

I enjoyed it as well. I probably won't follow it because I don't watch a lot of TV. Unless I get to see Kerry Washington in lingerie...a lot.  

Looks like you got your wish in this week's episode called "The Trail",   The Griot.
Which was a an excellent story told through the vantage point of flashbacks during Grant's presidential campaign and present day where Olivia and the President are puzzled by a hidden recording that had mysterious resurfaced.
Interesting seeing members of Pope's team before they were assembled (or were they already a team and we don't know it? )
...and we finally get to see what that DA's secretary, Alysssa, looks like!

...and it took 6 episodes for that decision to be made whereas Veep was renewed for a second season after only 2 episodes.

I look forward to SCANDAL every week and the season finale should be interesting.

SCANDAL is great show!   It deserved a second season.
I only wish that it can break out of that ABC television show mold and cut loose creatively because I'm finally settling in with getting to know the characters better. I want SCANDAL to be at least equal or better than Veep but that's a challenge.  Veep is damn good television!

I just learned over the weekend in a interview conducted by Tom Foreman on CNN that Olivia Pope is based on the life and work of Washington DC pro, Judy Smith,  her best known clientele & cases:

• The Iran-Contra investigation
• The Marion Barry prosecution
• The (uncle) clarence thomas & Anita Hill clash over a Supreme Court seat
• The Shondra Levy case

...and the list goes on & on...
