From the Hard Choices thread, it's clear I"m not the only one watching this show.  What do you all think?

Love it! ;D

I cracked up when Jonah the White House aide explained to the VPs assistant Gary that he wanted to date Amy the Chief of Staff in exchange for returning the incorrectly signed condolence card (for a senator that had just died) and he only wanted to date her because he rated her on a scale of 1 thru 10, an 8.  He didn't want to have sex with her, he  only wanted to date so that he could get with all of the other Washington intern chicks rated at 8.

VEEP is everything I had hope for.  Can't wait for the next episode!

I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It doesn't really have me laughing out loud, but I do like it's take on politics. It sort of amuses me in a way like 30 Rock does. It's not Martin funny for example, but I still enjoy it.

There are scenes in Veep that make me laugh almost uncontrollably.  Too many funny scenes.

Like this evening's episode, 'Baseball' where Dan is trying to entertain a classroom of bored kids to stall for time, waiting for VP Meyer to arrive for a visit to the school. Watching him strum a guitar, looking for the right chord, and you can clearly see that deep down inside he doesn't really want to be there at all.  The whole scene is just so awkward and embarrassing.
