RIP Sally Menke

Another great loss is the Sally Menke, who died this week while hiking in the canyons during a brutal heat wave. I got to meet her through Quentin, who would invite me to screenings of his rough cuts. She was a lovely woman who was worshipped by Quentin and every other director who had any sense. I didn’t know her well, but I will miss her so much.
